    FOUNDER

    Entrepreneur at heart, applying his expertise in language technology to consult for a wide array of organizations, both public and private.

    Evangelos worked for Google in the past. His ventures into successful entrepreneurial projects are underpinned by his academic role as a Professor in Language Technology at the University of Amsterdam, where he shapes the future of the field through research and teaching.

    Stands at the intersection of academia and industry as a savvy entrepreneur with extensive experience in software development, having worked with major business technology providers.

    His practical knowledge is enhanced by his academic position as a Lecturer in Language Technology at the University of Amsterdam, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

    Recognized for his strategic insights as an entrepreneur and his illustrious career in decision science.

    Before taking on the role of a Professor and the Dean of the University of Amsterdam Business School, he honed his business acumen at prestigious firms like Rabobank, McKinsey, and Stibbe, which adds a practical edge to his academic pursuits.

Ph.D. from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with a master’s from INSEAD. Folkert is a board member at the Erasmus Centre for Leadership and a lecturer in Organizational Change at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
